I’ll be taking a maximum of 8 students to ensure there’s plenty of time for individual guidance, space to ask questions, and thoughtful feedback on your work.

What we’ll cover:

• How to use a DSLR/mirrorless and shoot in manual mode

• Composition basics

• Lighting 101 (working with natural light)

• Portrait techniques for photographing people more confidently

• Simple file management

• Basic editing

What’s included:

• Coffee

• Lunch

• Two fun shooting exercises with feedback

• A relaxed, collaborative environment where you might even leave with a new photography friend

• A cheat sheet to take home about the most crucial points we cover in the workshop

Bring your own:

• DSLR Camera (if you don’t have one and need to borrow one, please ask before booking. Might be able to help 1-2 people with that)

• Charged camera battery

• Memory card with available space

• Notebook and pen or a laptop

 

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

 

This workshop is about learning together, trying new things, and building your confidence with a camera. It will be a relaxed and low-pressure environment.
